Our hourly rate starts when our van arrives at the pickup point if within Aberdeen City Boundary (see Map A). The Charge is from £35 per hour with a minimum charge of £35 for individual Item Loads. If you wish to self-load / unload, the fees are £30 per hour.  Pricing For Multiple Items, Small Parcels, Single Items requiring uplifting from Business or retail premises may be negotiable.

Small house moves with Multiple Items Boxes / Suitcases etc are £50 per hour.  We do not undertake house move with large furnishings.

If on arrival, at the appointed time and you are not yet ready, the charges will continue from the agreed appointed/arrival time.

If the van is late timings will start from the late arrival time.

If the van arrives early and you wish to start loading earlier than the scheduled time, the time starts when the loading starts.

If there are multi-pickup points, the fees will be applied until all points have been visited and all objectives achieved and all goods & passengers delivered.

Our minimum charge is £35 for up to 1 hour Within Aberdeen City Centre.  Subsequent part hours are charged in multiple of 15 minutes. Within Aberdeen.

Multiple Items / Small house moves with Multiple Items Boxes / Suitcases etc are £50 per hour.  We do not undertake house move with large furnishings or White Goods.

There is a minimum charge of £45 per hour or part hour thereafter. our fees are reduced to £40 if you wish to self-load / Unload and only need a van and driver

We do not seek to be the cheapest but we strive to be the best.  A clean, organised and tidy vehicle, a smart, presentable and articulate driver and most importantly punctual – we will be where we agreed at the time agreed.

We have frequently been called to undertake work where a pre-booked driver failed to turn up and failed to even let the customer know that they would not be bothering.  One example; a customer took 2 days off work to move possessions and set up in a new home.  Due to the no-show, the individual could not move until 2 days later and had to pay extra rent for the property and take an extra day off work.

Many, not all, unscrupulous service providers accept jobs at rates that are not realistic just to ensure their vehicle and drivers are fully utilised. However, should a more lucrative job become available instead, the cheaper job is abandoned.  In addition, the work may be rushed to get the job completed as quickly as possible, causing possible damage to possessions.

Our major advantage is that we do NOT stack multiple jobs, we aim to leave a minimum of an hour before and after of each client to ensure there is no risk of running late.  In addition to being fully rested and energised to do the job.  These considerations equate to less paid hours however the customer receives a more efficient service.

We are not the Ford of the market, we aim to be the BMW striving to be the Mercedes.  Not all services are equal. 

It is important to note that should we arrive late,  you ONLY pay from the time we arrive.  However if you are late you STILL pay when we arrive at the agreed time.  The customer is responsible for delays from their side and we are responsible for delays from our side. As fair as can be !

Although charging Hourly, there is no need to worry about your job being dragged out.  We encourage clients to have all items packed and ready to move in the order; heavy to light – before our arrival.  And, if possible, to move as many items as possible to the proximity of the van parking area to reduce the load time.  Further, if you have friends or family able to assist with your goods whilst the driver packs the van, there is considerable time and cost savings to our customers.

If the van is available at the time you require then we are not limited to fixed operating times.  We avoid rush hour traffic wherever possible, unless we are in the process of undertaking your delivery, we do not stop if caught during rush hour. This is to reduce costs to our clients who may face additional costs whilst we are waiting in traffic.  Generally 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, weekdays, are avoided.  We do not generally seek work before 11am due to ongoing fixed commitments.  We would ask that you simply contact us to discuss your requirements and and any flexibility you may have with timings. The more notice we have, the better we can match your exact requirements.

There has have a number of concerns expressed about miscommunications with service providers that speak limited English.  You can be reassured that your Driver was Born In Scotland & speaks English as his First Language; he is also very proficient in Broken English to enable him to communicate very well with many nationalities that may speak limited english.

There is no requirement for any customer to travel within the van at any time.  Customers wellbeing is of paramount importance to our business. Your driver has spent his entire life in the UK.  and has been employed as both a soldier & as a firefighter by the UK government.  A full disclosure certificate is available on request by customers who have any concerns.

If you situation or circumstances change we should be notified within 24 hours of the booking time to avoid a penalty charge.  Cancellations within 24 hours may incur charges subject to the circumstances and whether an alternative booking has been rescheduled by the same customer.

Best practice:

If in doubt let us know as soon as possible to discuss the situation, do not wait for a problem to arise when you suspect a situation arising so that we may propose solutions in anticipation to minimise impact to all parties.

It is Important to NOTE that PASSENGERS ARE NOT insured to travel in our van and our clients therefore agree that should anyone wish to travel in our van,  they do so at their own risk.

Any personal possessions that are antiques or of high monetary of personal value should be communicated to the driver to ensure the items are extra safe and secure and to check the condition of same BEFORE transportation.  It is ultimately the owner of the possessions who are responsible for the packaging and loading of their possessions and therfore should ensure that they are happy with all aspects of the loading before the vehicle departs.
